KAIZEN
Kaizen is a foundation to support, develop and preserve Martial
Arts from Okinawa and Japan. This ensures that we inform and educate,
and to organize seminars, performances, courses and trainings, and
to teach instructors throughout Sweden and abroad.
The word Kaizen is Japanese and means "continuous improvement".
We work directly and through the association Ninbukan Dojo in Åkersberga,
30 km to the north from Stockholm city.
NINBUKAN
Ninbukan is a pure sports club for different Martial Arts (bujutsu)
such as karate, kobudo and iaido there you can practice privately
or in a group in your place or in our Dojo in Åkersberga.
The trainining is organized in different groups for beginners and advanced, children from about 8 years, young people and adults, girls and boys.
Ninbukan is also connected to Swedish Sport Confederation by membership
in the Swedish Budo & Martial
Arts Federation, Swedish Karatefederation and Swedish Kendofederation.
Nin - means the sacrifices we must do our training to develop and be interpreted as never stop practicing. To never give up - our way of life simply!
Bu - means of martial and war and is aimed at the most difficult struggle that we must go, the one we have with ourselves every day, but bu also means our ability to defend ourselves against violent persons and above all be able to prevent threatening situations and defend us against various forms of violence and threats of violence!
Kan - means hall, dojo
WTMAS
We are connected to WTMAS - World Traditional Martial Arts Society,
which is our link to the various masters in karate, kobudo and iaido
in Okinawa, Japan. WTMAS controlling that our trainings and graduatings
are on the highest level in the world.
JIUJITSU INTERNATIONAL

Vi are also member of Jiujitsu International that is one of the
biggest organisations in the world in budo and bujutsu for different
kind of Martial Arts. The head quarter for Jiujitsu International
is in UK under soke Richar Morris, 10 dan jiujitsu.
What are we doing?
Our instructors have been teaching since 1970 children and adults in various Budo & Bujutsu, Martial Arts and women and different professional groups and authorities in self protection in both Sweden and abroad.
In Sweden we started the business in 1978 and have courses for ALL
- girls and boys, women and men, children from about 8 years, young
people and adults, disabled persons, family members or ring of friends,
alone or in a group for a fixed period with its own instructor,
private or in business, day - or evenings, on weekday or weekend,
in your place or in your place.
Our experienced and well-trained instructors to ensure that everyone
can develop optimal in its own rythm in a safe, enjoyable and stimulating
environment. The possibilities are many, depending on interest and
the purpose of training.
You can also train privately with the instructor, alone or together
with a friend / family, at times that you agreed on. Private training
can be done with us in Åkersberga or in your place you if
you have a local that can be used for this purpose.
We have since 1979 also worked as teachers in various schools where students appreciate bujutsu training more compared with traditional gymnastik or ball games.
Through our association Ninbukan If we organize workouts at fixed
times several times a week for both beginners and advanced into
different groups for children and adults in Åkersberga. Welcome

Our instructors
Our professional and certified instructors have after many years of training passed an exam for instructors to be approved and training moreover, all the time on both in Sweden and abroad.
Responsible for all training is soke (grand master) Leif Hermansson,
10 dan hanshi, which is one of the world's highest graduated masters
in several different Martial Arts and the only one outside Japan
with the highest degrees 10 dan hanshi in both karate and Okinawa
kobudo! There are 4 international organisations for Martial Arts
that grade him also to 10 dan hanshi in jujitsu!
He has trained Martial Arts and self-defence since 1963, of which
more than 30 years in Japan and Okinawa, after that 1976 accepted
as a student of the legendary karate and kobudomaster Motokatsu
Inoue, as one of the few (5) Westerners ever been approved as pupils
to him in Japan.
2006 became soke Hermansson the very first instructor of Martial
Arts ever in Sweden to take a degree in Higher instructor education
for elit at Bosön Sport University Development Center in cooperation
with the Swedish Sports Confederation, Sisu and Swedish Olympic
Committee.
The other instructors are: Olga Hermansson, 2 dan iaido and Rickard
Wide, 2 dan bujutsu
