What kind of Martial Arts I should train?
It can sometimes be difficult for the uninitiated to choose which kind of Martial Arts to start practicing. We know too little about the different styles, there are many new words (often in a foreign language in addition) and we feel unsure of how to choose to select the right.
Friends may practicing something that they think is great, but we may not want to train the same as everyone else, or that we have other criteria when choosing Martial Arts that suits us.
Fortunately, there are an awful lot of different martial arts that we can train and you will find no doubt that meet your needs and wishes.
What they call the activity (such as kickboxing, thaiboxning, kungfu, karate, taekwondo, etc.) are actually less important, really. There are more similarities between the various martial arts than there are differences. Since there may be different rules in a competition, but an arm can only be broken in one direction, nature is nature and a kick is a kick regardless of which language is used.
It is clearly much more important that training meets the expectations you have and that you get out of the training that you are looking for (for example, better stamina, more flexible body, better self-esteem, learn self-defence, etc.). The atmosphere in the group and the club at all, the hospitality at the time of notification or when you call to get more information, instructors experience, age and education, training, the distance to your home, training centres and so on is far more important, than what you want to practice martial arts named.
Please check in to us and talk to instructors, or watch the training. Feel the atmosphere and test a lesson, ask questions and learn more about the fascinating world of martial arts.
