NINBUKAN - the Academy of Martial Arts
We have since 1970 trained children and adults in various Budo and Bujutsu, Martial Arts, and also women and different professional groups and authorities in self protection in both Sweden and abroad.
We have courses for ALL - girls and boys, men and women - children from 8 years, young people and adults, disabled persons, family members or friends, alone or in a group for a fixed period with its own instructor, private or in business, day or evenings, on weekday or weekend, in your place or in our place.
The possibilities are many, depending on interest and the purpose of training.
Our experienced and well-trained instructors to ensure that everyone can develop optimal in its own rhythm in a safe, enjoyable and stimulating environment. More information can be found here on our website, or by you are visiting us where we train.
Can also I start practicing?
It can YOU! You do not have good stamina, smooth body, or other knowledge when
you start. It may be you through workouts. All that is needed is tracksuits,
shorts, T-shirt or other items, and the willingness to do anything
to come forward, to develop. Once you are underway and train regularly
in one of our groups for beginners, you will notice results!
Beginner have they own groups under the first termin and then moved up to a group for advanced where you learn more techniques. You decide how often and what you want to train, depending on the time and interest and all can practice in the tempo as they feel comfortable.
"Those who believe that they did not have time to physical education, must sooner or later set aside time for illness" - Edward Stanley 1826-1893
At the end of each semester, you can make a graduation, where you can get your knowledge tested for possible transfer to a more advanced group for the next semester. As evidence of this, you will have an international diploma, and you have the right to wear a new belt of a different, darker color, which is one step closer to the magic of black belt.
Although you can become a champion in Martial Arts and to receive the black belt if you want - it's just a question of willnes and priorities! It is you who decide what you want to be and how long it will take before you reach your goals!
Seminars and training camp with prominent masters arranged several times a year through our international contacts. Sometimes we go to Japan and other countries for a few weeks training.
Our special courses in conflict management and self protection
Besides regular training in various Martial Arts we also arrange training courses in self protection for girls and women and different professional groups. This is done by APM, which is an international educational organization in the protection and security.
This is now more necessary than ever when the violence is is becoming us closer for every day and the police can no longer guarantee our security. It is we ourselves who have to make sure that we stand wel trained when violence is threatening us, our families or colleagues.
APM is widely known for its international bodyguards courses and has been approved by the police instructors in self protection.
Swedish livvaktsteam, trained by us, have in recent years taken a number of gold, silver and bronze medals in the World Cup bodyguard of hard competition against tough bodyguards from, among others, Ukraine, Russia, Ireland, Puerto Rico and the Baltic countries.
To have happy and motivated employees who also feel safer and more secure in their workplaces and on the way to get there and from there, is increasing comfort and performance and reduce sick leave.
To train Martial Arts gives a certain amount of security and knowledge that can be useful in self-defence, but it is also a need for training and education in self protection, conflict management and mental preparation to cope with an intimidating and violent situation.
